500 gm. Yam, Boiled & mashed

½ cup Walnuts, coarsely chopped

2tsp. green chilies, finely chopped

7-8 Black pepper, grounded

2tsp. Ginger, Grated

1tsp. carom seed, powder

¼ tsp. clove powder

¼ tsp. cinnamon powder

2tbsp. raisins

2tbsp. Dry figs

Salt to taste

Oil for frying


Soak figs & raisins in the water for 15 minutes. Mix yam, walnuts, salt and all dry powders. Chop figs & raisins; mix with green chilies & ginger. Make desire shape with Yam and stuff with figs & raisins. Keep it for 10minutes in the fridge. Heat oils in the pan and shallow fry these kebabs till light brown. Serve with Mint chutney and sweet date chutney.
