BAKED PUFF SAMOSA

Here again I tried to make something Fusion: In this recipe I have used samosa filling in the puff, It’s easy a complete tasty snack. Try this and enjoy this any time filling snack.

INGREDIENTS-

1 pack of puff pastry sheets

1tbsp.Milk for brushing

For Filling-

2 Medium size Boiled Potatoes, cubed

1/2cup boiled peas, or Frozen

1tbsp. Grape seed oil or olive oil

1tsp. cumin seeds

1tsp. Ginger paste

1green chili, finely chopped

1/2tsp. black pepper powder

1/8tsp. clove powder

1/8tsp. cinnamon powder

1tsp. dry coriander powder

1tsp. Dry mango powder

1/2tsp. Garam Masala or all spice

Salt to taste

METHOD-

Heat two tbsp. of grape seed oil or olive oil in a pan, add cumin seeds and when they start to change color, add ginger, green chilies and potatoes. Stir and add all dry powder like, clove powder, cinnamon powder, coriander powder, dry mango powder, garam masala powder and salt to taste. Stir well and mash it with spoon. Cover it and cook for 2minutes.Remove and let it cool.

For the puffs:

Please defrost the packet of pastry sheets at least 40 minutes before making the puffs. Cut each sheet into 2 rectangular pieces…hence from a total of 6 single sheets you will get 12 rectangular pieces.

To prepare the puffs, take each rectangular piece and add a spoon of the mixture of potatoes in the center, fold in a triangular shape or rectangular shape properly sealing all the edges. Do the same for all of the 12pieces and place them on the backing dishes leaving some gap. Brush it with milk for gloss.

Pre-heat oven for 5 minutes at 220 degree C and place the trays, bake all the puffs around 30 minutes or till the puffs are brown and crispy.
