VEG. PATIYALA-

VEG. PATIYALA- Mixed vegetable curry with cinnamon flavor.

INGREDIENTS:

2cups mixed vegetable (Peas, French Beans, Carrot) Diced

1Medium sized Yellow Capsicum, Cubed

1/2cup Cottage cheese, crumbled

1/4 tsp. Turmeric powder

1green chili, finely chopped

1tsp. Ginger paste

4tbsp. Tomato Paste

1/2 cup milk or cream

1/2 tsp. Cinnamon powder

1/2tsp. Red chili powder

1 tbsp. coriander powder

2tbsp. Butter

Salt to taste

 

METHOD-

Par boiled all the vegetable in the salted water. Strain and keep aside. Heat butter and fry diced capsicum and green chili for 1 minute. Mix two tbsp. water with Ginger paste, tomato paste & all dry spices in a separate bowl. Add boiled vegetables in the pan along with paste. Add crumbled cottage cheese and salt, mixed well. Cover it with lid and cook for 4-5 minutes. Add milk or cream and cook for 2-3 minutes. Serve Hot.
