ALMOND PEANUT SQUARES

INGREDIENTS:

1cup Almond powder

2 ½ cups Peanuts

2cups sugar, powdered

3/4cup milk

2tbsp. Clarified Butter

1/2tsp. Cardamom powder

2 Silver foils for garnishing

METHOD:

Heat a fry pan and roast the peanuts. Cool and peel the skin off the roasted nuts. Grind them to powder in a mixer. Heat a nonstick pan. Put clarified butter, powdered nut and almond powder into it. Stir fry for 2-3 minutes. Mix milk, sugar and cardamom powder into it. Stir well to blend the mixture to a sticky consistency. Grease a plate. Pour the mixture in it. Make smooth and level. When cooled, cut with sharp knife in square shapes. Garnish with silver foils.
