BENGAL GRAM POTATO PATTIES (Chana Dal Aloo Tikki)

INGREDIENTS-

2cups Boiled & mashed Potatoes

1cup Boiled Bengal gram (Chana Dal)

1/2cup bread crumbs

Salt to taste

2green chilies finely chopped

2tbsp. Chopped fresh coriander

1tbsp. Lime juice

3tbsp. Oil

For Serving:

Sweet Chutney

Yogurt sauce

METHOD-

Take boiled Bengal gram in a bowl and mash with potato masher. Mix it with mashed potatoes, green chilies, coriander, lime juice and salt. Rub little oil in the palm and make drop shape or oval shape flat patties of this mixture. Coat these patties with bread crumbs. Heat oil in the fry pan and shallow fry these patties till golden brown from both sides. Serve hot with yogurt & sweet chutney.
