2 cups Reduce milk solid (Khoya)

4 tbsp. pancake mix

1/2 cup milk or more to make batter

200 gm. sugar

100 ml. water for making sugar syrup

5-6 strands of Saffron

Clarified Butter for frying

2tbsp. Pistachios for Garnishing

For strawberry Coulis:

2 1/2 cups strawberries, fresh or frozen

1 cup of plain white sugar (granulated)

1/4cup of water


Mix Khoya & pancake mix with milk. Use electric blender to make smooth batter. Keep aside for 1hour.

Take sugar and water in the separate pan make thick sugar syrup.

Heat clarified butter in the shallow fry pan. Pour spoon full batter to form a little pan cake. Shallow fry all these pancakes till golden brown from sides. Drain and dip in the sugar syrup for 4-5 minutes. Remove and garnish with chopped pistachio. Serve warm with vanilla ice-cream & strawberry coulis.

For making Coulis mix all the ingredients and boil till sugar dissolved. Use hand blender to blend this sauce little. Cool and Serve with Malpua or on top of vanilla ice cream.
