YOGURT DROP SCONES

A perfect tea time snack can be prepared in just 18 minutes.

INGREDIENTS

2 cups all-purpose flour

1/2 tsp. baking soda

1/2 tsp. salt

1 tsp. sugar

1 tsp. baking powder

1tsp. carom seeds

1 1/4 cups Laban or yogurt mix with water

2tbsp. Butter

METHOD

Preheat oven at 220 degree centigrade.

Sieve the flour and mix with salt, sugar, baking powder and carom seeds. Stir in Laban or yogurt mix with water. Drop the mixture by table spoon on to non-stick cookie tray. Smooth the surface of each one by the back of spoon and thin layer of butter. Bake in the preset oven for 12 minutes. Serve hot with Dollops of Butter & Jam.
