MANGO MOUSSE, MOM & ME
Mango is the king of fruits. Mango is super food, rich in Vitamins, minerals and antioxidants. Sweet and juicy mango contains lots of Vitamins like A; C & E and good source of Iron & Potassium.
Eating Mango in any form is the good decision for the healthy body. I have lots of child hood memories related to mango eating, Once my Mom & dad planed Mango eating Competition with all my sisters & cousins, during summer holiday.My Mom used to make lots of pudding with mango, today I tried to make Mango Mousse like her, and here is my Mom’s secret recipe of Mango Mousse without egg and gelatin.
2 cups Double Cream
1 cup Icing Sugar
2 cups Mango Puree
1tsp. Cardamom powder
2 -3 Strawberries & Mint Leaves for Garnishing
Whip chilled cream with the whisk attachment of stand mixer until soft peak form. Continue beating with icing sugar and cardamom powder. Stir 1 1/2 cups mango puree in the whipped cream. Blend it again till smooth. Set in the glasses and add 1-1tbsp. mango puree in each glass, gently fold it to create ripples. Chill for 30-40 minutes in the fridge. Garnish with sliced strawberries and mint leaves. Serve Chilled and enjoy delicious Mango Mousse.
Note: For making 2 cups mango puree, you need 3 Medium sized ripe mangos. Peel and chop mango. Grind in the mixer and pass through sieve to make smooth puree.
