CREAMY ANTIPASTO WITH SPINACH RIBBONS

INGREDIENTS

1 cup Spinach, Very Thinly Chopped like Ribbons

2 tbsp. Butter

2 tbsp. Béchamel sauce powder, ready made

1 cup Milk

1 cup cream

2 tbsp. Cheese, grated

1tsp. White Pepper, freshly grounded

Pinch of Nutmeg powder

Salt to taste

Basil leaves for garnishing

Bread Sticks to serve

METHOD

Mix Béchamel powder with ½ cup of milk and keep aside. Heat butter in the pan and add Spinach ribbon, sauté for 2 minutes. Add Béchamel powder mix milk and stir continuously to avoid lumps. Add remaining milk and cream, mix it. Add salt and cheese; Cook it for 3-4 minutes till it thick like sauce. Add pepper and nutmeg powder. Remove and serve in the bowl. Garnish with basil leaves and pepper. Serve hot with Toasted bread sticks.
