TOMATO & BABY CORN TEMPURA
Serve: 4
INGREDIENTS
4 Plum Tomatoes cut into wedges
1 Cup Baby Corn, Blanched
1 ½ cup Readymade Tempura Mix
½ cup Bread Crumbs
Ice cold water for making Batter
1tsp. sugar
Oil for frying
Salt to taste
Soya Sauce & chili Sauce for serving
METHOD
Combine Tempura flour, sugar, salt and Ice cold water to make smooth batter.(Add less salt, because some of the Tempura mix are with salt). Heat oil on high, Dip the Tomatoes wedges and Baby corn in the batter, coat with bread crumbs then drop in the heated oil. Allow to cook from both sides about 2-3 minutes. Drain on paper towel. Serve hot with soya sauce and chili sauce. Enjoy Tomato & baby corn Tempura.
