SESAME COATED PEANUT LADDU: FASTING SPECIAL
As fasting started, here is simple and easy recipe of peanut laddu, try and enjoy.
Makes 10-12 Laddu
2 cups Peanuts, without skin
1 cup Sugar, powdered
2 tsp. cardamom powder
2 tbsp. Ghee or Clarified Butter
4 tbsp. Sesame seeds, dry roasted
Roast peanuts in the microwave for 2 minutes on high. Cool and grind in the grinder in to fine powder.
Heat the heavy bottom pan and add ghee and peanut powder stir and roast for 3-4 minutes without changing the color. Add cardamom powder and remove from heat. Keep aside to cool it little bit. After 5-7 minutes add sugar and mix well with the help of spoon or hands. Keep sesame seeds in the plate, now divide the mixture in to 10 -12 equal parts and make round shape. Roll each ball in the sesame seeds and keep in the plate. Serve or store in the covered containers. These laddu can be stored for 10-12 days in covered container.
