PEAS & CORIANDER SOUP:SPRING SPECIAL

Spring is the coolest weather of the year, lets make some easy yet spring special Peas & Coriander soup, I am sure you will like it.  You can add some cabbage for crunchy taste.

SERVE: 4

PREP: 10 Min.

Cooking Time: 20 Min.

INGREDIENTS

2cups frozen peas

4 cups vegetable stock

1 cup chopped fresh coriander

Salt & ground black pepper, to taste

¼ tsp. Clove powder

2tbsp. Olive Oil

1tbsp. Roasted sesame seeds,

 

METHOD

 

1-Heat butter or Olive oil in a heavy bottom pan over medium heat, add coriander and peas. Sauté and cook this 3-4 minutes.

 

2-Add stocks, salt, pepper and bring to the boil over medium, high heat. Simmer till peas are soft.

 

3-Cool it for 5 minutes and transfers the soup to the blender for blending, or use hand blender for blending.

 

4- Return pureed soup to the saucepan and heat again.

 

5- Adjust the consistency by adding warm water and bring to boil. Stirring constantly for 5 minutes and add clove powder, remove.

 

6-Serve gorgeous green soup and top with roasted sesame seeds and dash of olive oil.

Cooking Time: 15 min

INGREDIENTS

1 cup Ready Made Red Velvet Cake Mix

2 tbsp. Rice Flour

1 tbsp. Beet Root Powder

½ tsp. Vanilla sugar

2 tbsp. Yogurt

Milk for Binding

Cooking spray for greasing the waffle Trays

Strawberries & Sour Cream for serving

METHOD

Mix all the dry ingredients in the mixing bowl and slowly add yogurt and milk to make smooth batter.

Grease waffle trays with cooking spray and heat. Spread the batter evenly in the waffle trays and cook the waffle for 8-10 minutes.  Remove gently and serve with sour cream & strawberries or pour some honey.DSC_0257

Speakeasy is an American themed bar, known for its delicious mouth-watering burgers that are named after famous musicians of the early 1900s.

Speakeasy organized ‘Build-Your-Own-Burger’ competition exclusively for food lovers & bloggers. Here are some of the memories of the great event. It was truly entertainment with building the burger with the choice of fillings. I really enjoyed the dart game.

CHOCOLATE FONDUE WITH FRUITS AND MARSHMALLOWS

Cooking Time 15 min

INGREDIENTS

For Sauce:

200g dark chocolate

1 galaxy Chocolate bar, Plain

25g unsalted butter

100ml double cream

100 ml Milk

Few drops of Hazel Nuts syrup, Optional

For Serving:

1 cup Melon balls

1 Dragon fruits scope in to balls

1 cup Grapes

10-12 Raspberries

10-12 Marshmallows

Few strawberries

METHOD

Put the chocolate, butter, cream and milk into a saucepan, and then heat gently on the top of boiling water (Use Double Boiler for Better Taste). Stirring occasionally, until the chocolate is melted and the sauce is smooth.  Transfers the sauce in to fondue set and lit the candle inside the fondue burner. Arrange all the fruits and marshmallows in the plate. You can use skewers for fruits to  dip in to  the sauce . Eat n Enjoy..
