GORGEOUS DETOX SMOOTHIE

INGREDIENTS

1 Avocado

½ Green Capsicum, cubed

1 Green Apple, deseeded & cubed

½ cup Green grapes

½ cup Curly parsley

1 tsp. Ginger chopped

1 tsp. Orange zest

Pinch of sea salt

Pinch of Black Pepper

2 ½ cups Chilled water

METHOD

Peel avocado and sliced. Wash parsley and chopped. Combine all the ingredients in the blender and blend well till smooth, Serve immediately. Try to drink twice in a week to get gorgeous skin and happy stomach.

INGREDIENTS

1 small Orange

200ml.Craneberry Juice

200ml. Pomegranate Juice

1 inch Cinnamon Stick

1 tbsp. Powdered Sugar

1 Strawberry, cut into halved

METHOD

Cut orange into slices and simmer for 10 minutes with cranberry juice and cinnamon stick on low heat.

Remove and cool. Mix with pomegranate juice and chill for 30 minutes. For serving discard the cinnamon stick and orange slices. Rub the rim of glasses with orange juice and roll into powdered sugar. Pour the juice and garnish with strawberry.

INGREDIENTS

4 cups Water Melon, cubed & deseeded

1 cup Jalap syrup

Pinch of Rock salt

Mint Leaves for garnish

Ice cream maker

METHOD

Juice the water melon in the blender and pass through sieve to remove all the tiny seeds. Mix with Jalap syrup and pinch of salt. Add this to ice cream maker and follow the instruction. It takes 40 -45 minutes. Transfer in the serving bowl and garnish with mint leaves. Enjoy the sorbet & summer…

BE HEALTHY IN THE BLESSED MONTH OF RAMADAN & HEALTHY DRINKS

Ramadan is the month of fasting, blessing, sharing & caring. Keep fast and be healthy, fasting makes to control the addictions, provides tranquility of the heart and mind. It helps to improves blood fat levels, because it promotes to breakdown of fats and helps in weight loss. This year the month of Ramadan is in the summer time, one should keep the body hydrating by drinking 7-8 glass water and take balanced meal. Have Suhour to fill your body with protein and carbs to regulate blood sugar. Avoid fried & sugary food. Jallab is morning drink from Lebanon, Syria and Palestine. This drink is made of date & Grape molasses. You can add soaked almonds, pine nuts or raisins to make more delicious and healthy. Here I am sharing my recipe of Jallab. A Complete refreshing drink for perfect morning, I am sure you all will like it and make it.

INGREDIENTS

1 Green Apple diced & cubes

2 cups Sweet Melon cubes

½ cup Fresh Mint Leaves

1 cup Chilled Mineral water

Pinch of Sea salt

Pinch of Mecca powder

METHOD

Blend all the ingredients in the smoothie maker till smooth, add more water if required and drink immediately.

Smoothies are very good option to start the day. It’s a quite filling option and full of nutrients. This Holistic Healthy smoothie is without dairy and sugar, for vegan you can replace honey with agave syrup.

INGREDIENTS

1 cup Fresh Pineapple, cubed

1 Banana, chilled

½ cup Fresh Coriander

1tsp. Chia seeds

½ tsp. Mecca Powder

1 tbsp. Honey

1 tsp. Lime Juice

200 ml. Coconut Water, chilled

METHOD

Mix all the ingredients in the jar of blender and whizz until smooth and creamy.  Serve immediately in the tall glasses. Have a great morning…

MONSTER MANGO MINT LASSI

Lassi is yogurt based drink serve with breakfast or lunch. You can make sweet or salty, sometimes seasoned with roasted cumin, black pepper or dry coriander powders. In sweet lassi you can add fruits like Mango, Strawberry, or banana to make it flavored lassi. Here I made this with mango and mint leaves.

INGREDIENTS

1 cup Mango Cubes

½ cup Mint leaves, fresh

2 tbsp. Mango puree, tinned

2 cups Yogurt, chilled

4 tbsp. Sugar

½ cup Milk or water, chilled

Ice cubes optional

METHOD

Combine mango cubes, mint leaves with yogurt in the jar of blender and blend till smooth. Add sugar, milk and ice cubes blend again to make it smooth & frothy. Serve in the glass and garnish with mint leaves and mango puree.
